Want tips for storing digital Scrapbook, documents and items.?

Hi, I downloaded some digital scrapbooking kits, papers and elements. Any digital scrapbooker out there has some advice for storing them. How should I select categories, so I can get items needed without having to navigate through them all? Any advice big? Thank you so much!

I sort mine by the designer. As I keeping a file of Kay Miller and all scrap kits in that file. Then, each designer can make sub files as certain holidays, or girly kits … etc. ..
